摘要
Zygapophysial joint (facet) pain is a known source of spine pain. While many treatments have been proposed, the only treatment repeatedly demonstrated in the literature to be successful is radiofrequency neurotomy of the medial branches that innervate this joint. Outcomes from this procedure are predicated on ideal patient selection and optimal technique. This article will review the key considerations required for optimal patient- and population-based outcomes. © 2015, Springer Science + Business Media New York.
