Writing is an important skill for physicians, especially for those interested in academic medicine careers. Medical students need training in this important skill to assist with project proposals and for future career development. We designed, taught, and evaluated a writing workshop for pre-clerkship medical students. © 2016, International Association of Medical Science Educators.
