摘要
This paper aims to study, develop and implement a system that uses scalar control with energy efficiency optimization for driving three-phase induction motors. The proposal consists of changing the relationship between voltage and frequency of the drive, which is traditionally kept constant under scalar control, to optimize the air gap flux according to the mechanical load coupled to the shaft. Three different operation modes have been proposed: two in open-loop (super-economical and economical modes) and a closed-loop one. Both open- and closed-loop control strategies are tested to validate the proposal, obtaining a consumption reduction of up to 48.06% in open loop and 35.9% in closed loop.
