摘要
Samples of cobalt-chromium-molybdenum, cobalt-based super alloy, are sintered by Direct Metal Laser Sintering, an additive manufacturing process. Several samples are sintered with different combinations of laser power, scan speed, porosity to study their influence on the samples, using L9 orthogonal array. The sintered samples are evaluated for their compression strength, wear resistance and electrochemical behavior. Gray relational analysis is performed to identify the optimum process parameters. Experimental results reveal that samples fabricated high laser power (350 W), high scan speed (1.4 m/s) and medium porosity (20%) provide the high compression strength and samples fabricated with low laser power (270 W), low scan speed (1.2 m/s) and low porosity (10%) exhibit low wear resistance. However the corrosion resistance was high for the sample fabricated with low laser power (270 W), high scan speed (1.4 m/s) and high porosity (30%).
