摘要：

The problem of diffraction of a plane H-polarized wave by an infinitely long open circular conducting screen is considered. An integral equation of the first kind for the current is obtained and combined with two additional conditions. The equation has a kernel with a logarithmic singularity and contains two arbitrary constants on the right-hand side. An equivalent singular integral equation for the derivative of the current is derived.
