摘要
Genotype × Environment interaction and stability analysis performance were investigated to estimate the uniform performance of a genotype in different environmental conditions. For this purpose, okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) genotypes were tested for stability during 2018–19 using Eberhart and Russel Model. Genotypes were sown in three different environments viz. spring 2018, winter 2018 and spring 2019 according to Randomized Block Design (RBD). To check the stability of yield, the major stability parameters were calculated through coefficient of determination, mean yield, and regression coefficient. The genotypes viz., EC305615, EC305740, EC359637, IC014018, IC 014026, AKOLA BAHAR, IARI SELECTION 2 and AKO 107 were the most stable genotypes in terms of fruit yield and its components. Results of the study determined that genotypes stable for yield could be used for crop improvement breeding programmes to obtain uniform performance and higher yield under different environments. © 2022, The Author(s) under exclusive licence to Society for Plant Research.
