摘要
Drug information within the pharmaceutical industry can vary from company to company in terms of scope of practice. To meet the changing scientific and medical needs of health care professionals and business applications of today, an innovative model of drug information development was created: the Applied Therapeutics Team (ATT). The ATT is a group of self-directed individuals whose primary goal is the development and dissemination of medical and scientific information to internal colleagues and external customers. It combines three distinct functions (Healthcare Information Services, New Product Devel-opment, and Applied Therapeutics) into one synergistic group. As a team, the ATT responds to drug information requests received from health care professionals and other internal and external customers, through creation and development of written documents and therapeutic slide programs. This paper reviews the rationale for development of the ATT, the responsibilities of the ATT, and the value of the ATT in the organization.
