摘要
In this paper, vanadium carbide (VC) nanoparticles were selected as the third reinforcement phase to deposit in Ni-W coating, and Ni-W/VC coating was successfully prepared on the P110 steel plate by pulsed electrodeposition technology. Because of the high microhardness and excellent dispersion reinforcement of VC nanoparticles, the Ni-W/VC coating exhibits excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. In addition, we also studied the enhancement effect of different VC concentrations on Ni-W coatings. The results show that the performance of Ni-W/VC coating is improved with the increase of VC concentration. When the content of VC nanoparticles reaches 1 g/L, the coating has the highest microhardness value (654.87 HV), which is 35.14% higher than the pure Ni-W coating. And it has the lowest average friction coefficient (COF = 0.472), showing excellent wear resistance. Meanwhile, the corrosion current density (5.1244 μA/cm2) also fully indicates that Ni-W/VC coating has good corrosion protection.
