摘要
The specific features of the use of the sources of coherent, monochromatic, and broadband radiation in photodynamic therapy were studied on the basis of a simple physical optics model. Four classes of photo-sensitizers were introduced according to the type of their absorption spectrum. The optimal type of the activating source was revealed for each class. The biosystem phases of the problem as well as the effects of modulation and polarization of light were beyond the scope of this paper.
