Contemporary Guidelines for Tympanostomy Tube Placement

Tympanostomy tubes remain the most commonly performed operation globally. They facilitate drainage of middle ear fluid, direct delivery of ototopical antibiotics as well as other therapies, and reduce the risk of complications related to severe Eustachian tube dysfunction.
