Chroma error analysis and compensation for heterogeneous video transcoding

摘要
Different video coding standards implement motion compensation (MC) algorithm with fine difference. This nuance may introduce serious chroma signal error in heterogeneous video transcoding. In this paper, the Chroma Error Drift is tested and analyzed. We also proposed a transcoding architecture to correct this error. According, to our test result, this algorithm can settle the Chroma Error Drift with high quality and efficiency(1).
