W-Band Dual Polarized Array Antenna Based on Gap Waveguide Technology

摘要
This paper describes a 4*4 fully metallic dual-polarized array antenna working at the W-band based on gap waveguide technology. The radiating layer is a circular aperture backed by two stacked cylindrical cavities. Both feeding layers are orthogonally fed by the integration of ridge gap waveguide and groove gap waveguide. The structure of feeding layer 1 is identical to feeding layer 2. Simulation results show the antenna provides an average gain over 23dBi with its operating bandwidth.
