Independent Innovation Ability Evaluation of SMEs Based on Grey Correlation Analysis

Small and medium-seized enterprises (SMEs) have become an important foundation for economic development, market prosperity, technological innovation and the increase of employment and become a new force to promote independent innovation of enterprises in China. This paper constructed an evaluation index system of independent innovation ability of SMEs composed of innovation input ability, research and development ability, innovation management ability, innovation output ability and innovation supporting ability. Then it established an evaluation model of independent innovation ability of SMEs based on grey correlation analysis and developed a case study. The model built in this paper has the specialties of easily calculating and clear result, and is suitable for comprehensive evaluation containing multiple factors and indexes.
