摘要
Recently, there has been a bursting demand to corporate multimedia content delivery over the Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs). This feature could not only enhance several existing applications in the commercial, industrial, and medical domains, but also could spur an array of new applications. In this paper, firstly, establishing Node of Multimedia Sensor Network based on PXA270 32-bit Intel processor. By Embedded Linux operating system and Qt-embedded graphics user interface is introduced in this platform. Driver program porting, system software porting, graphics user interface porting and the application program designing are also depicted in detail. Secondly, establish MWSNs experimental environment based on IEEE 802.11a/b standard for efficient communication among any node and server and among any node. Video continuous capturing, processing, transmitting and display can be realized through making use of TCP/IP and User-defined protocol and adopting multithreading program technology. Experimental results show that we can accomplish above video continuous capturing, processing, transmitting and display at the speed of 10 similar to 15 Frames per second in the format of QCIF.
