摘要
Introduction. - In France, 2.3% of all cancers are attributable to an occupational exposure. Among the medical community, there is a significant lack of knowledge of occupational carcinogens and procedures for monitoring workers. The aim of the "POST-PRO'' project is to develop an online decision aid tool to improve prevention and recognition of occupational diseases. Method. - Thirty-five carcinogens have been selected according to the French Social Security's law and the guidelines of the National Insurance Fund. Toxicologic and medical data about occupational carcinogens have been collected. We designed a website with an interactive lexicon giving access to summary data for each chemical agent. Results. - The website POST-PRO is available at: http://suivipostprofessionnel.fr/ and provide 14 fact sheets about the occupational carcinogens described by the French Social Security law and 21 fact sheets about other carcinogens that could be eligible to medical follow-up after the approval of the advising doctor of the National Insurance Fund. Conclusion. - The generalization of use of this online medical help tool could improve the medical monitoring after occupational exposures, a better detection and early treatment of occupational cancers as described in objectives of the national French Cancer plan 2014-2019.
