摘要
Crystallographic regularities and kinetics of polymorphic transformations in iron, 30 and U8 steels depending on initial state and heating rate are investigated. Fine-structure changes in initial phases and those formed under heating.(or under cooling) and especially during transformation offer a clearer view of the physical sense of D. K. Chernov's 'b' point. Kinetics peculiarities of alpha -> gamma-transformation give an insight into the phase transformation mechanism including formation and growth of new-phase nucleus of supercritical size.
