Research on the evaluation and restructuring of China's automobile industry based on data envelopment analysis

摘要
This paper first proposes that a model based on data envelopment analysis can be used to evaluate the production efficiency of major listed companies in China's automobile industry, and then it calculates the total efficiency, technological efficiency, scale efficiency, shadow prices of input and output, productivity utilization of DMU, etc, before the root causes for scale diseconomy are revealed. In order to solve the problem, we suggest that China's automobile industry should be restructured by adopting netowrk organisation. Possible directions for further research are indicated in the end.
