A tuning of the spin crossover in Fe(II) complexes

摘要
Thermodynamic data for a series of Fe(11) spin crossover systems are analysed with the aim of tuning the transition temperature and the solid-state cooperativeness. The rigid tridentate ligands clearly shift the transition temperature close to room one as opposed to the capabilities of the bidentate counterparts. The enthalpy disfavour is responsible for it.
