Measures and models of operational competitiveness: An application to plants in the food processing industry

摘要：
Competitiveness is a prominent theme in the operations strategy literature. The literature, however, does not describe what quantitatively constitutes operational competitiveness. In this study, we propose measures of operational competitiveness. We develop models to identify the drivers of competitiveness. We then demonstrate the application of these measures and models in the context of the North American food processing industry.
