摘要：
This paper covers the study on filtration and drying characteristics of lime sludge. Some earlier studies related to solid-liquid separation of solvent refined coal processes employing a lab-scale filtration unit has also been highlighted. A methodology has been developed to dewater the lime sludge to make it handleable for further use in industry by SLS-technique. Filtration study has been covered in Part-A and drying in Part-B.
