摘要
This paper firstly sets up a innovation ability index of Chinese high-tech industry, which includes two aspects, inside innovation ability and outside innovation ability. Inside innovation ability include innovation ability of science and technology and innovation ability of industry. Outside innovation ability include support ability of economy and support ability of environment then evaluates on the samples it chooses from two aspects, inside innovation ability and outside innovation ability. The samples are west China, east China and middle China, which is classified by China High-tech Industry Statistical Yearbook 2008. After analysis, the conclusion is that great difference especially regional difference lies in innovation ability of Chinese high-tech industry, east is the best then central and west is the worst. At last it gives some strategic guiding direction for each sample.
