摘要
From the standpoint of organic chemistry, heterocyclic scaffolds have many applications in the production of new drugs, natural products and complex molecules (known as biologically active compounds). Over the last decade, the utilization of nanomaterials as heterogeneous reusable catalysts has received considerable attention in organic chemistry. Mobil Composition of Matter (MCM) nanoparticles have received profound attention due to their valuable properties such as selectivity, ease in separation, eradicating the expensive materials and hazardous chemicals. Recently, many academic efforts have been devoted to employing mesoporous silica MCM nanocatalysts in the synthesis of heterocyclic scaffolds. In this review, we present recent exciting achievements in the utilization of heterogeneous reusable nanocatalysts for the synthesis of heterocyclic scaffolds.
