Research on sustainable development ability in the western regions of China based on DEA method

In order to implement the western region economic development strategy, we need to evaluate the sustainable development ability as a platform. In the evaluation, from the perspective of input and output, the paper uses sustainable development indices and presents the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model. Combined with western region specifics, this paper e mphatically analyses DEA efficiency, scale incomes, technical efficiencies and sustainable development track. Finally, the paper proposes some improvement countermeasures by analyzing the existing problems on western region sustainable development.
