Research on the reliability index and reliability test technique of alternating current contactor

Alternating current contactor is one kind of the important appliance applied to control the AC main circuit making and breaking. It is in wide-ranging use in the electric power system and automatic control system. To study its reliability index and test technique contributes more to the maintenance of contactor product reliability and the reliability improvement of the system using it. In the paper, the reliability index of AC contactor and test technique of it are studied and determined. According to the test technique, the reliability examination test is taken on the AC contactor products produced in China People Electric Appliances Group, Zhejiang.
