摘要
Salacia menglaensis J.Y. Shen, L.C. Yan & S. Landrein (Celastraceae), a new species from Huidu, Mengla, Yunnan, China, is described and illustrated. It is similar to S. korthalsiana, S. glaucifolia and S. polysperma, but differs from them by the fruit size (2-3 x 2-3 cm), with only 1-2 mature seeds and by the non-glaucous abaxial leaf surface. We also provide a conservation assessment for this rare vine species.
