摘要
Based on the model of one-dimensional steady-state reaction gas flow, the impact of fine-grained AP on burning rate of the Composite modified double base (CMDB) propellant was discussed. The impact factors of ammonium perchlorate (AP) on burning surface structure and decomposition of CMDB propellant were revised by introducing process grain size d(s)*, and the burning rate prediction model of CMDB propellant applied to ammonium perchlorate was established, which can calculate quantitatively the burning rate when chemical structure parameters of solid propellant were given. The calculation results showed that theoretical predictions and experimental results were agreed well at 9.8 similar to 19.6MPa, most of the errors were less than 5 percent. It indicates that this model can provide instruction for developing propellant formula.
