摘要
This paper presents a high throughput wireless system which is able to reach up to 400 Mbps using OFDM with adaptive modulation and coding (AMC). Our objective is to increase an actual throughput in the OFDM wireless system under various environments. We apply an adaptive modulation technique to each subcarriers to keep required BER performance for realizing high-quality communications. Convolutional coding is added to the adaptive modulation scheme to obtain higher PER performance under small CNR environments. In the computer simulation, we evaluate PER performance and demonstrate the efficiency of the AMC in a throughput analysis.
