摘要
We studied the change of dielectric hysteresis loops in lithium tetraborate(Li2B4O7) single crystal at temperatures ranging from 150 K to 393 K at four different frequencies of applied electric field, 1 Hz, 10 Hz, 100 Hz and 1 kHz. Dielectric hysteresis loop in lithium tetraborate maybe originates from the nonlinear polarization and conduction, which are correlated to each other: i.e., dielectric hysteresis is caused by the hindrance in the pathways of mobile ions by the defects in the crystal. We also found that the temperature, dependent dielectric constant and dielectric hysteresis loop are strongly correlated. Mobility of mobile ions decreases as the temperature decreases and is almost zero below 150 K. Dielectric relaxation time decreases with increasing temperature.
