Investigation on ionic conductivity and Raman spectra of γ-Bi2MoO6

摘要
Thermo-Raman and impedance spectroscopic techniques have been utilized in this work to derive information on the phase transformations and the electrical properties of gamma-Bi2MoO6 sample. Although the thermal evolution of the oxygen bond distances and the thermo-Raman spectral variation provided evidence for the existence of an intermediate gamma(I)-Bi2MoO6 phase between gamma(L)-Bi2MoO6 and gamma(H)-Bi2MoO6 there is no strong support for a coordination change in the intermediate phase. The observation of a jump in the oxide ion conductivity during the temperature interval from 3 10 to 6 10 degreesC with low activation energy of 1.17 eV is an important factor for its usefulness as a catalyst.
