Kaon condensation and multi-strange matter

摘要
We report on dynamical calculations of multi-(K) over bar hypernuclei, which were performed by adding (K) over bar mesons to particle-stable configurations of nucleons, Lambda and Xi hyperons. The (K) over bar separation energy as well as the baryonic densities saturate with the number of antikaons. We demonstrate that the saturation is a robust feature of multi-(K) over bar hypernuclei. Because the (K) over bar separation energy B((K) over bar) does not exceed 200 MeV, we conclude that kaon condensation is unlikely to occur in finite strong-interaction self-bound {N, Lambda, Xi} strange hadronic systems.
