摘要
Chalara sp. was isolated from sage starch processing wastewater. The fungus grew in raw-starch tapwater agar. In solid-state fermentation studies of the pith residue 'hampas' growth of Chalara was observed to produce appreciable amounts of raw starch digesting enzyme.
