Oscillations of the conductivity of a two-dimensional electron gas in the presence of microwave radiation

The conductivity of two-dimensional electrons under microwave irradiation at magnetic fields in the region where the usual Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations do not appear is investigated in the framework of the Boltzmann transport equation. It is shown that under such conditions the microwave radiation gives rise to a new type of oscillations of the components of the conductivity tensor. (C) 2004 American Institute of Physics.
