The advisability of irrigation during the process of post-mining grounds reclamation

摘要
The paper presents results of field research and observations carried in the inner waste heap of the "Kazimierz Polnoc" open pit, situated in the Kujawskie Lake District (52 degrees 20' N, 18 degrees 14' E). Field research and observations were conducted on experimental plots undergoing agricultural land reclamation, with different agricultural uses. Significant influence of precipitation on crop yields was noted. The research results indicate that dynamics of the moisture content in the upper layers of post-mining grounds depends mainly on weather conditions.
