A new moth species from the oriental geometrid genus Rhanidopsis West, 1930 is described: P. kogeri Viidalepp & Lindt, sp. n., from Cameron Highlands, Peninsular Malaysia is added to the distribution area of the genus, formerly known from the Philippines and Borneo. Phenotypical similarity of the genus with Afrotropical Dargeia Herbulot, 1977 and Neotropical Pyrochlora Warren, 1895 is discussed. Sonic plesiomorphic characters of Neotropical and Indoaustralian genera of Nemoriini are compared.
