Analysis of Train Passenger Flow during Spring Festival Travel in Major Cities of Henan Province in China

摘要
We collected data surrounding the in-station number of people and the passenger flow data of the main stations in Henan Province during the Spring Festival using Tencent's big data platform. Using this data, we created a heat map of the passengers flow time in-station, the daily passenger flow statistics and the radar map of daily passengers flow peak probability. We systematically studied the time distribution pattern of passenger flow during the Spring Festival in the six stations of five cities. The results we obtained are a significant guide for station ticket window setting, security scheduling and inbound and outbound passenger settlement plans.
