A design method of generalized minimum variance control in a multi-rate system

摘要
Generalized minimum variance control is designed in a multi-rate system where the sampling interval of a plant output is longer than the holding interval of a control input. Because new design parameters are introduced, intersample ripples in the multi-rate system are suppressed by weighting the variation in the control input. Furthermore, the proposed method is an extension of a conventional design method. Finally, simulation results are illustrated in order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
