摘要
This paper presents a methodology to manage electric vehicles charging in real-time, mitigating its impact on the voltage level, power losses and maximum capacity of the transformer used for vehicle charging in a residential distribution circuit. Initially, a model of electric vehicles consumption is developed, taking into account the mobility patterns of the city and the charging characteristics of the batteries. This information allows generating the consumption of electric vehicles hour by hour of a day, which is managed through a novel coordination algorithm that reduces power losses and improves the voltage profile, avoiding transformer overloading. To validate the real-time management methodology, the algorithm is implemented in a MATLAB app, and through a Monte Carlo study, several cases in a distribution circuit in Bogota are analyzed.
