摘要
This article, through the analysis of the existing literature, addresses dance as content of Physical Education and its effective and significant presence in the work of teachers in the field in a school environment.For that, the systematic literature review was adopted,the studies used in the research were delimited by means of the content analysis technique. From the results found, it can be concluded that dance as knowledge belonging to the area of Physical Education is still limited when compared to other contents of the discipline, not being given the true value in the training process. The main factors that cause this situation were also pointed out, among them the teachers' unpreparedness and prejudice.
