SIMULATION ANALYSIS OF DYNAMIC GAUGE OPTIMIZATION ON THE TURNOUT OF DEDICATED PASSENGER RAILWAY

摘要
This article introduces Germanic KGO turnout based on dynamic gauge optimization program. By NUCARS software, the wheel/turnout dynamics model is created. In order to analyse the riding safety and comfort, the dynamics responses are simulated of the No. 18 turnout with widened gauge switch on the dedicated passenger railway when vehicles passing in straight-reverse direction at 250km/h and in side-reverse direction at 80km/h. The results show that all kinds of dynamic performances remain relatively high level and can guarantee excellent riding quality. From the comparison between the traditional No.18 turnout and No.18 turnout with widened gauge, it is discovered that No. 18 turnout with widened gauge switch can improve the riding quality and reduce the wheel/rail wear. Finally, according to comparison between two kinds of turnouts at different lateral passing speeds, it is found that No. 18 turnout with widened gauge switch can improve the lateral passing speed of train.
