摘要
Higher performance requires the effective operation and maintenance of power generation's sub-system, often necessitating the implementation of cost-effective preventive maintenance strategies. Therefore, a higher performance target means higher maintenance investment. However, the question of setting performance target for Coal Handling System (CHS) is not easy, as it involves many influencing decision parameters, apart from a good understanding of CHS configuration and power generation load capacity. The measurements of performance i.e. Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) of CHS are defined. Moreover, the application of Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) is currently developing in many fields of asset. The focus of this paper is to demonstrate the applicability of RAMS and LCCA to analyze maintenance decision of CHS on the low risk operation of Low Rank Coal Fired Steam Power Plant (LR-CFSPP). Finally, a model of LCCA Risk Mitigation-Based has been developed to establish a relationship among CHS's RAMS parameters, maintenance cost-effectiveness and LR-CFSPP operation risk to help to decide which the optimum solution is. Monte Carlo simulation is involved in this model to obtain RAMS value and effective-cost. Implementing the method developed, case study of three alternatives of CHS scheme based on risk mitigation concerning to LR-CFSPP operation are simulated. The results show us that the method developed is capable to use to conduct maintenance decision of coal handling system on the low risk operation of LR-CFSPP.
