摘要
The deposition of dust over the photovoltaic module is a function of factors such as dust properties (size, shape, and weight), wind parameters (speed and direction), panel characteristics (surface smoothness and inclination angle), and environmental factors (dust storms, rainfall, humidity, dew, and the wavelength of light). The dust accumulated over the PV modules leads to a decrease in the values of their output power. The study presents the effect of dust properties on the power output of the PV panels. A synthetic experiment has been conducted to simulate and show the dust effect on the performance parameters of the photovoltaic module concerning its I-V and P-V characteristics.
