摘要
The notification of supervisory authorities by nuclear power plant operators in case of events is subject to the applicable regulations. In view of the high sensitivity of the public to events in nuclear power plants, the operator may be drawn into the centre of the public interest. Therefore, frank and unreserved information is the policy actively pursued in case of any event in a nuclear power plant. This preventive PR approach serves to build in the public and with representatives of the media the credibility of and confidence in the operators even before any event has occurred.
