In present scenario metallurgical industry is focusing on the materials that import high strength-stiffness ratio, specifically particulate fortified metal framework composites are increasing more significance due to the preferences like isotropic properties and the possibility of optional preparing auxiliary compo-nents. Keeping this in view aluminum metal grid composites in mix with metal lattices composites gained a marked interest for their enriched properties to cater the industry needs. In this present project different proportions(0%,2%,4% and 6%) of aloe vera powder and constant proportions silicon carbide(10%) are taken in mix with Al6061 and fabrication process is carried out and specimens are prepared as per ASTM standards. Mechanical properties like tensile, impact, hardness and microstructure analysis is accomplished for the samples, there is explicit improvement found in hardness yet there is no consider-able development found in tensile and impact quality. Microstructure analysis is done in both etched and unetched condition and microstructure, porosities are observed. Highest tensile rate is found as the level of aloe vera diminished; most extreme rigidity esteem is for the sample A where aloe vera is viewed as 2%, as the percentage of aloe vera increased reduction in the tensile properties has been observed. Impact vitality expanded as the level of aloe vera expanded and consistent level of silicon carbide is utilized. Most extreme rate was found for the sample where the highest aloe vera was used. Hardness has been raised with the expanding rates of aloe vera, from 2% to 6%. ? 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
