THE USAGE OF WEB 2.0 TOOLS IN EDUCATIONAL PROCESSES: AN ANALYSIS OF EXISTING LITERATURE

摘要
The "Ed2.0Work - European network for the integration of Web2.0 in education and work" project is a three year Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency co-financed project with the following aims: center dot To support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies and practice for lifelong learning. center dot To encourage the best use of results, innovative products and processes and to exchange good practice in the fields covered by the Lifelong Learning Programme, in order to improve the quality of education and training. center dot To promote European co-operation in fields covering two or more sub-programmes - KA3. center dot European-wide stakeholders' communities promoting digital competence and other key transversal competences for life and employability. During the project an analysis on the state of the art in Web2.0 usage in education has been carried out. In this paper we present the results of the analysis of 506 academic papers retrieved from the academic database SCOPUS. The study had the intention of analyzing what are the most common topics on the subject of web 2.0 usage for educational purpouses, what sort of empirical approaches have been carried out in this matter, what are the main conclusions of the papers analyzed and lessons that can be learned from them. As summary of results we can point out that: -there is a predominant educational level in which the papers are focused: higher education -the existence of studies focused on analyzing the use of web 2.0 in non formal and informal educational processes it is testimonial -the main focus of the papers analyzed is to analyze how students use specific web 2.0 resources (i.e. facebook, twitter, ...) for educational purpouses -there are few experiences based of the analysis of the usage of web 2.0 by teachers and educators in educational processes Paper elabotared under the EU project "Ed2.0Work European network for the integration of Web 2.0 in education and work" funded by European Union with the coordination of the University of West Scotland and the participation of 12 other partners. University-Enterprise of Balearic Islands Foundation and members of the research group based at the University of the Balearic Islands,"Education and Citizenship" (E&C) have participated in the project. The research group (E&C) has consideration of Competitive Group and is sponsored by the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands, through the Directorate General for Research, Innovation and Technology Development of the Department of Innovation, Interior and justice and has FEDER co-financing funds.
