摘要：
The machinery of lie theory is applied to the system of equations governing the unsteady flow of a polytropic gas, the action on solutions of transformation groups which leave the commuting properties of the invariance groups of the system, we are able to characterize appropriate "canonical" variables allowing to reduce the equations to autonomous form. In this way, we characterize particular exact solutions. (C) 2002 Published by Elsevier Science Inc.
