Including pedagogical interpretation in the language class: action research, competencies and teaching activities in the oral language

Pedagogical translation is now enjoying new possibilities in language teaching. After a long period during which it did not enjoy much appreciation, new opportunities are opened for the design and implementation of a wide variety of exercises. Such an offer may well include pedagogic interpretation exercises so the array of didactic tools available for the teacher is more ample. With the backdrop of the concept of action research, it is then possible to propose blocks or sets of pedagogic interpretation exercises between Spanish and Portuguese as resources for increasing PFL students' language proficiency. The aim will be to open new paths of motivation for students which can make easier the development of language skills in Portuguese.
