Spontaneous cardiac allograft tolerance in b71/2-deficient recipients involves periperally induced CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ regulatory t-cells, but does not require thymic-derived endogenous CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ regulatory T-Cells.
