摘要
Water hyacinth is a free floating aquatic plant they were mainly available in tropical and sub-tropical region. These plants were treated as noxious and they were containing the highest growth characteristics. These plants many parts were affected the growth of other plants and also animals. Because of major negative causes all the countries considered these plant was a waste. So, presently the researchers focused on this hyacinth plant convert into some commercial aspect products and also ornamental items. The present review discuss the mechanical properties like tensile, flexural and impact compare to the other natural fibres and also discuss the various extraction process and composite production techniques of Eichhornia crassipes. Some recent research and developments were proved and yet to be produced to some successful commercial products made to the aquatic water hyacinth plant, because the outcome of these water hyacinth based products considered as the waste management concept.
