摘要：

Pediatric arteriography is an extremely important method of evaluating the vascular system. Advances in imaging, catheters and wires, contrast agents, and other techniques now allow for better diagnostic abilities, and have expanded the therapeutic possibilities in pediatric vascular intervention. Although noninvasive modalities such as US, CT angiography, and MR angiography have become increasingly important in pediatric vascular imaging, many indications remain for catheter arteriography. A multidisciplinary approach, a firm understanding of the similarities and differences between adult and pediatric arteriography, and meticulous technique ensure the safety of the pediatric patient when performing pediatric arteriography. © 2010 SIR.
