New species and new records of myrmecophilous Phoridae (Diptera)

Records for host ants are recorded for nineteen species of Afrotropical Phoridae; including Aenictacantha crassitarsalis Disney sp. n.; a new key to Afrotropical Diplonevra; Epactoselia provallaris Disney gen. n., sp. n.; a new key to Psyllomyia, including P. browni Disney sp. n. (the first record of the genus for the Oriental Region) and the Afrotropical P. megophthalma Disney sp. n., P. minuta Disney sp. n., P. sinupennata Disney sp, n., and a new synonym; Puliciphora karensis Disney sp. n., and a new key to Afrotropical Puliciphora females. Host records for three Nearctic species are given, including Ecitoptera watkinsi Disney sp. n., the first Nearctic record for this genus. Host records for fifteen Neotropical species include a key to the females of the myrmecophilous species of Dohrniphora; a revised key to Ecitophora females, deutonymphs of Laelapidae (Acari) reported attached to females of E. breviptera; a revised key to Thalloptera females, and T. brevisetorum Disney sp. n. Host records for ten Oriental species are given, along with a key to Aenictacantha females, including A. longisetosa Disney sp. n.; a key to females of the myrmecophilous Dohrniphora; a revised key to Rhynchomicropteron females, and R. bifidspinarum Disney sp. n. A new host record for a myrmecophile from Japan is reported.
